DevOps & Deployment Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to improve software development and release workflows through automation, continuous integration, and deployment management. The role involves streamlining build processes, maintaining delivery pipelines, and helping development teams deploy applications efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application builds and releases.
• Configure build and deployment workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and version control processes.
• Automate repetitive development and deployment tasks using scripts.
• Work with Docker to package and manage application environments.
• Support application releases across development, testing, and production environments.
• Monitor pipeline execution and troubleshoot build, integration, and deployment failures.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to streamline software delivery.
• Maintain deployment configurations, technical documentation, and release procedures.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Basic knowledge of Linux commands and shell scripting.
• Understanding of Docker and containerisation fundamentals.
• Familiarity with application builds, deployment processes, and environment configurations.
• Basic knowledge of Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
• Awareness of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is an advantage.

Qualifications

• 0 to 2 years of experience in DevOps, software development, or automation.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
