DevOps Engineer, CI/CD

About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to streamline software development and deployment processes through automation and efficient release management. The role involves building CI/CD pipelines, managing development workflows, automating repetitive tasks, and improving the reliability of software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application development and deployment.
• Automate build, testing, and release processes across development environments.
• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and version control workflows.
• Work with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Create and maintain Docker containers for application packaging and deployment.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Monitor deployment workflows and troubleshoot build or release failures.
• Collaborate with developers and testers to improve software delivery processes.
• Maintain deployment documentation and support release management activities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Basic knowledge of Linux commands and shell scripting.
• Understanding of Docker and containerisation concepts.
• Familiarity with build tools, testing workflows, and application deployment.
• Understanding of networking, environment variables, and application configurations.

Qualifications

• 0 to 2 years of experience in DevOps, automation, or software development.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and automated deployment workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure is an advantage.
