Devops & Deployment Engineer

About the Role

RTAC is looking for a motivated DevOps professional to improve software delivery processes and streamline application deployment. The role involves working with development teams to automate workflows, manage release environments, and establish efficient practices for building, testing, and delivering software.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain automated build and deployment workflows.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for application integration, testing, and releases.
• Manage source code repositories, version control, and branching workflows.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Bash, Python, or similar scripting tools.
• Work with Docker to build and manage application containers.
• Coordinate application releases across development, testing, and production environments.
• Investigate deployment failures, configuration errors, and pipeline issues.
• Implement monitoring and logging practices to identify operational problems.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to improve release processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Understanding of DevOps methodologies and software delivery practices.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Basic knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Understanding of Docker and containerization.
• Familiarity with deployment environments and application configuration.
• Exposure to Python, Bash, monitoring tools, or automation frameworks is beneficial.
• Knowledge of cloud-based deployment environments is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Freshers with relevant projects, certifications, or hands-on practice are encouraged to apply.
