About Olsen Spaces
Founded in 2022 and led by IIT Madras alumni, Olsen Spaces is a managed workspace brand in Bengaluru, trusted by startups, scale-ups, and new-age businesses. Our workspace philosophy is built on three core pillars:
- Thoughtful Design – Warm, intentional, productivity-led spaces
- Seamless Operations – We manage end-to-end, so teams can focus on building
- People & Community First – Workspaces where teams feel cared for and inspired
We believe careers are built by doing and owning, not by watching. At Olsen Spaces, you get the freedom to take charge, experiment, and grow faster than in traditional setups.
About the Role
This is a generalist apprenticeship working directly with the founder(s). You will work across operations, sales, finance processes, growth projects, and special problem-solving assignments. Some days will be strategic. Most days will be messy. All days will matter.
Key Responsibilities
You will be parachuted into live problems across the business, including:
- Supporting daily operations across multiple properties and teams.
- Tracking and improving processes, SOPs, and internal workflows.
- Assisting in sales coordination, lead tracking, CRM hygiene, and follow-ups.
- Working on special projects directly with the founder (new initiatives, pilots, experiments).
- Preparing basic financial trackers, reports, and dashboards.
- Coordinating with vendors, internal teams, and external partners.
- Researching new growth opportunities (locations, partnerships, ideas).
- Turning chaos into clarity through lists, trackers, summaries, and action items.
You will be expected to figure things out, not wait to be told everything.
Who This Role Is For
You may be a strong fit if:
- You are a recent graduate / fresher (0–2 years experience).
- You are curious, sharp, and uncomfortable being average.
- You enjoy solving problems more than talking about them.
- You can switch contexts quickly without losing your head.
- You take ownership and do not disappear when things get hard.
- You are okay being wrong, as long as you learn fast.
This role rewards initiative, reliability, and judgment—not titles.
Who This Role Is Not For
Please do not apply if:
- You want fixed responsibilities and a predictable routine.
- You need detailed instructions for every task.
- You are optimising only for work-life balance at this stage.
- You are uncomfortable with ambiguity or direct feedback.
- You think this role is a shortcut to a fancy title.
This role is demanding. It is also unfairly educational.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid Excel / Google Sheets skills (you will work extensively on them).
- Ability to structure information and think logically.
- High attention to detail—small misses create big problems.
- Comfort using tools such as Google Workspace, Notion, and CRMs (or willingness to learn fast).
What You'll Get
- Direct exposure to how founders think and make decisions.
- A front-row seat to building and scaling a real business.
- Fast learning with steep responsibility and real ownership.
- Opportunity to grow into operations, strategy, growth, or leadership roles.
- Compensation aligned with performance and growth, not just time served.
