Junior Interior Designer

The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing interior concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings for a variety of projects. This is a full-time position based in Ahmedabad with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with space planning.
• Prepare construction documents.
• Contribute to FF&E selections.
• Help develop presentations and mood boards.
• Coordinate with senior designers, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain project documentation and schedules.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.

Qualifications

• Skills in Interior Design and Architecture to support concept development and overall design coordination.
• Space Planning skills to create efficient, user-centered layouts and circulation plans.
• Construction Drawings skills to prepare and update detailed plans, sections, and elevations for execution.
• FF&E skills to assist with furniture, fixtures, and equipment selection, specification, and documentation.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn from feedback and work in a team environment.
• Familiarity with local materials, vendors, and construction practices in Ahmedabad is an advantage.
