Associate Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking ambitious undergraduates or professionals a few years out of college for our Associate Consultant (AC) role. As an AC, you will apply and develop your analytical, interpersonal, creative thinking, business management, and leadership skills from day one. You will start as a generalist and be placed in the thick of the action, working alongside experienced consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on a case team with three to five other consultants, owning a distinct aspect of the project.
• Take charge of identifying information sources, gathering and interpreting data, executing analysis, and presenting findings to case team members and client stakeholders.
• Interview clients’ customers, competitors, suppliers, and employers.
• Manage the day-to-day execution of a client project while guiding and developing less tenured individual team members.
• Work directly with clients, usually on site, and take ownership of the workstream or its end products.
• Make an important contribution to the analysis, design, and implementation of business performance approaches, developing tailor-made solutions and working closely with clients to ensure positive impact and sustainable results.
• Build on proven leadership skills and leverage your interest in inspiring others, building strong relationships, and creating a true followership.
• Work closely with others in a collaborative team setting, as well as autonomously with little direction.
• Client project work typically includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing recommendations for presentation to client management.
• Implement recommendations with client team members.
• Gain new skills and build on existing strengths.
• After accumulating appropriate experience, take responsibility for supervising more junior ACs.
