About the Role
We are looking for a Mechanical Quality Engineer responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming raw materials, mechanical components, precision-machined parts, sheet metal components, plastic injection-moulded parts, and finished assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
- Incoming Quality Control (IQC)
- In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)
- Dimensional inspection
- Process monitoring
- Quality documentation
- Coordination with production and suppliers to maintain product quality
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Mechanical inspection
- Engineering drawings
- GD&T
- Measuring instruments
- Quality management systems
- NCR and CAPA documentation
- ISO 13485 awareness
- MS Excel and quality reporting
- CMM operation
Qualifications
- Mandatory:
- Engineering drawing reading
- GD&T knowledge
- Precision dimensional inspection
- Vernier, micrometer, height gauge
- Incoming and in-process quality control
- Mechanical manufacturing process knowledge
- MS Excel and quality reporting
- Preferred:
- Profile projector / vision measurement
- NCR and CAPA documentation
- ISO 13485 awareness
- Added advantage:
- CMM operation
- Medical device manufacturing experience
