About the Role
Matricstek Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Entry-Level Business Data Analyst to join their team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates eager to develop skills in business analysis, data visualization, and reporting, focusing on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business data to identify trends, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and organize data from multiple business sources.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, business opportunities, and performance gaps.
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Write basic SQL queries to retrieve, filter, and analyze data from databases.
- Work with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular business performance reports.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and data cleaning.
- Fundamental understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills.
- Good communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and business processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic projects or internship experience involving data analysis or business reporting.
- Basic understanding of business metrics, KPIs, and data visualization.
- Familiarity with Python or statistical analysis is an added advantage.
