Junior Engineer Trainee

About the Role

TARUN CONSTRUCTIONS is a growing construction company focused on delivering quality infrastructure and building projects. This is a full-time, on-site role in Latur for a Junior Engineer Trainee to gain hands-on experience in civil engineering and construction management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day site activities.
• Assist in supervision of construction work.
• Monitor project progress.
• Ensure adherence to technical specifications and safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and workers.
• Assist in measurements and quantity calculations.
• Maintain basic documentation (daily reports, material logs).
• Learn to interpret drawings and plans.
• Support quality checks.
• Assist in resolving minor site issues under guidance.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Civil Engineering or related discipline (diploma or bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Basic understanding of construction processes, materials, and structural elements.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and site layouts.
• Comfort with site-based work, including field measurements and inspections.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and follow instructions.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with MS Office.
• Ideally, introductory knowledge of AutoCAD or similar tools.
• Understanding of or interest in construction safety practices and regulatory standards.
• Ability to work full time on-site in Latur and manage physically active field responsibilities.
