Video Editor Intern

About the Role

TechBrosky is hiring a Creative Video Editor Intern with a strong passion for visual storytelling, short-form content, and professional video editing. The role involves transforming raw footage into engaging videos through editing, colour grading, motion graphics, and sound design.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit engaging Instagram Reels and short-form social media videos.
• Edit talking-head videos with clean cuts, captions, engaging hooks, and smooth pacing.
• Create Meta Ads creatives, including UGC-style videos, product videos, and brand advertisements.
• Utilize storytelling, emotional pacing, and creative transitions to make videos engaging.
• Create speed ramps, motion graphics, animated typography, and subtitles.
• Handle sound design, audio mixing, and noise reduction.
• Perform primary colour correction, including exposure, white balance, and contrast adjustments.
• Apply advanced colour grading to match brand aesthetics and visual identity.
• Work with LUTs and maintain consistent colour looks across video projects.
• Understand skin tone protection and selective colour adjustments.
• Export high-quality videos optimised for Instagram, Meta Ads, and YouTube.
• Organise project files and maintain proper folder structures.
• Deliver projects within agreed deadlines.
• Maintain visual consistency across different brand projects.
• Collaborate with content strategists and the social media team.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Adobe Premiere Pro: Mandatory and primary editing tool.
• Adobe After Effects: Knowledge of motion graphics and compositing.
• Strong understanding of Colour Correction & Grading.
• Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve is an advantage.
• CapCut Pro is optional, but a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop preferred for thumbnails and graphic integration.

Qualifications

• A portfolio or showreel showcasing previous editing work (talking-head videos and Reels preferred).
• Ability to understand and match a brand's visual identity using references or moodboards.
• Strong creative thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines independently without constant reminders.
• Openness to feedback and quick implementation of revisions.
• Self-discipline and the ability to manage remote work.
• Passion for visual storytelling and creative content production.

Internship Details

• Position: Creative Video Editor Intern
• Work Mode: Remote / Work From Home
• Duration: 3 Months
• Probation: First Month
• Stipend:
• Month 1: ₹5,000
• Month 2–3: ₹5,000–₹7,000 per month (performance-based)
• Post-Internship: PPO opportunity at ₹18,000–₹20,000/month (performance-based and not guaranteed).
