Junior Test Engineer

About the Role

The Junior Test Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruppur. This role involves executing test cases for software and systems used in store operations, inventory, and internal processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing.
• Document test results.
• Report defects.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare test data.
• Review requirements.
• Validate fixes.
• Support regression and integration testing.
• Maintain testing documentation.
• Follow established quality standards.
• Contribute to process improvements in the testing lifecycle.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Core testing skills, including Testing and Functional Testing.
• Test engineering capabilities, including Test Engineering and Test Execution.
• Test design skills, including creating, reviewing, and maintaining Test Cases.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycles and quality assurance methodologies.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
