Article Trainee

About the Role

The Article Trainee will support the team in delivering professional and advisory services to a diverse client base. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune, requiring consistent collaboration with colleagues and direct interaction with clients under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with accounting and audit assignments.
• Preparing working papers and documentation.
• Performing basic financial and tax-related analysis.
• Supporting senior team members with compliance and reporting tasks.
• Gathering and organizing client information.
• Maintaining accurate records.
• Contributing to research on regulatory and industry updates.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in MS Office tools (especially Excel and Word).
• Comfortable working with digital records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have cleared CA Inter/IPCC exams.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
• Candidates should possess basic knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and audit concepts or be willing to learn them quickly.
• Candidates should possess good written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction and clear documentation.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Enrollment in or completion of a professional course such as CA, CMA, or a related commerce degree is preferred.
• Ability to work ethically, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to dynamic client needs, and take initiative under guidance from senior professionals.
