Software Testing Intern (QA, UAT & Test Platform)

Buildify is a software and web agency in Chennai building web applications, AI automations, and LMS/ERP platforms for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Functional, regression, and user experience testing of web and mobile applications
• UAT support for clients and internal stakeholders
• Writing clear, reusable test cases and reproducible bug reports
• Building and maintaining automated tests using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• Learning API, unit, and integration testing, and basic security testing using OWASP guidance on Buildify's own and authorized systems
• Helping improve our internal testing platform, including test runs, reporting, and workflow

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Interest in software quality and curiosity about how things break
• Basic understanding of how web applications work
• Some exposure to JavaScript, Python, or similar, from a course or personal project
• Attention to detail and clear written English
• Willingness to learn automation and security testing

Nice to Have

• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or another test automation framework, or a personal project with automated tests
• Development experience with Next.js or Express
• Familiarity with Postman or similar API tools
• Interest in security, such as OWASP Top 10 or capture-the-flag exercises
• Experience with GitHub or other version control

Details

• Commitment: 15 hours per week, schedule agreed in advance
• Duration: 3 months
• Stipend: ₹5,000 - ₹10,000 per month, based on performance
