About CollabKaroo
CollabKaroo is a creator-economy startup building a platform that connects brands with creators and influencers for paid collaborations. The platform helps brands discover the right creators for their campaigns, and helps creators find genuine, paid brand opportunities and manage those partnerships end-to-end. As an early-stage startup, the team moves fast, wears multiple hats, and expects interns to take real ownership rather than just observe.
About the Role
As a Social Media Management Intern, you'll help build and manage CollabKaroo's own presence across social platforms — growing awareness of the platform among both creators and brands. This role is a good fit for someone who understands what makes content perform and enjoys the day-to-day rhythm of running social accounts.
What You'll Do
- Plan and maintain a content calendar across CollabKaroo's social channels
- Create and/or coordinate content (posts, reels/shorts, stories) aligned with brand voice
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/DMs, and support community management
- Track basic performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and suggest improvements
- Stay current on social media trends and formats relevant to the creator economy
- Collaborate with the influencer marketing and sales teams to cross-promote campaigns and wins
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube, and/or TikTok content formats and trends
- Basic content creation or editing skills (Canva, CapCut, or similar tools)
- Good writing skills for captions/copy
- Creative eye and consistency — social growth is a long game
- Prior experience managing a brand or personal social account is a plus
Compensation
- Base stipend: ₹3,000–4,000 per month (Based on CV and Skills)
- Performance-based bonus on top of base pay, tied to KPIs: follower gains, views, and marketing cost efficiency (exact targets to be shared during onboarding)
