About the Role

This is an unpaid internship.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Generation:
• Build lists of veterinary clinics, pet hospitals, grooming salons, boarding centers, and pet shops from Google Maps, Justdial, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Note the owner or doctor's name, phone number, area, and website.
• Outbound Calls:
• Make 40 to 60 calls a day to vets and pet business owners.
• Introduce ScoobyCares, understand current clinic operations (e.g., paper, Excel, WhatsApp, or other apps), and identify pain points.
• Product Pitching:
• Explain relevant modules (e.g., vaccination reminders, appointments, free clinic website) in simple Hindi, English, or the local language.
• Demo Scheduling:
• Fix dates and times for online or in-person demos.
• Send meeting links and reminders via WhatsApp.
• Ensure doctor or owner attendance.
• Demo Execution:
• Join demos with the founder, eventually conducting them independently.
• Answer questions about pricing, free trials, and setup.
• Sales & Follow-up:
• Follow up after every demo.
• Share brochures and quotations.
• Handle objections.
• Assist clinics in signing up for free trials and paid plans.
• Record Keeping:
• Update the lead sheet or CRM after each call (called yes/no, result, next step, follow-up date).
• Marketing Support:
• Send WhatsApp brochures.
• Assist with LinkedIn and Instagram outreach.
• Visit clinics or pet events in Bengaluru as needed.
• Reporting:
• Share a short daily report: calls made, demos booked, demos done, and sign-ups.
