About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic AI Intern to join our team. This role will provide an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on real-world industrial projects and gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art technologies. As an AI Intern, you will contribute to developing, testing, and deploying AI models and algorithms to solve various problems aligned with our company’s goals.
Employment Type: Internship (6 months, with potential for extension)
Location: Chennai
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in data collection, preprocessing, and exploration for machine learning and AI model development.
- Support in designing, building, and optimizing machine learning models for specific projects.
- Conduct research on recent advancements in AI and machine learning techniques to help enhance our solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to identify new opportunities for AI-driven improvements and solutions.
- Participate in the testing and validation of machine learning models, analyzing performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Document experiments, model configurations, and results for future reference and reporting.
- Contribute to maintaining and organizing datasets and ensuring data quality for training and testing models.
- Configuring edge hardwares for the deployment.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong programming skills in Python, with knowledge of libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, or similar.
- Familiarity in doing interactive coding using AI tools and building skills.
- Ready to work with hardwares and applications of AI Vision, deploy at client site for PoCs.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and deep learning concepts.
- Strong understanding of concepts like object detection, segmentation, and object tracking.
- Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis using tools like OpenCV, Ultralytics, NumPy, and similar libraries.
- Familiarity with API & Web server development in FastAPI, Django, Nginx, and similar platforms.
- Knowledge of model evaluation metrics and practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in learning new technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with computer vision or natural language processing projects.
- Experience with handling Jetson nano, Raspberrypi, Arduino.
- Experience with designing and prototyping electronic circuits.
- Familiarity with cloud-based ML services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience working with Vision RAG, Quantization, Multi-task learning, Optical Character Recognition, Multimodal LLMs.
- Familiarity working with Android Studio and other IDEs.
