About the Role
To support extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, Flex is looking to add a Junior Financial Analyst - Cost Accounting Solutions in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all defined cost accounting activities.
- Understand corporate policy and follow up on key cost accounting metrics.
- Implement time-saving/cost-reducing initiatives through pocket kaizens and process improvements.
- Work with the operations team and track reasons for metric non-conformances through regular follow-ups.
- Post month-end journal entries related to accruals and reclass in ERP.
- Prepare and maintain SOP in line with the latest process and document them in DMS.
- Learn and serve as a backup for the cost accountant.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- MS Office
- Basic level knowledge in MS applications.
- ERP
- DMS
- Good knowledge in accounting principles.
- Understand & interpret accounting policies.
Qualifications
- B.Com/BBA (Finance) or M.Com/MBA (Finance).
- 0-2 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Excellent oral & written communication skills in English.
- Good team player with analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn & deploy the skills learnt in day-to-day processes.
