About the Role
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to strengthen the quality of our software applications through automated testing. The role involves creating automation scripts, validating application functionality, identifying defects, and improving testing efficiency across web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Build and execute test scenarios using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Appium.
- Automate functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test cases.
- Perform API testing and validate application responses and data.
- Identify test failures, analyse results, and report software defects.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify bug fixes.
- Maintain reusable test scripts and improve automation test coverage.
- Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD workflows.
- Prepare test reports and maintain automation documentation.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, or Appium.
- Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, or Python programming.
- Understanding of automation frameworks and test script development.
- Basic knowledge of API testing, REST APIs, and JSON.
- Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of Git and CI/CD concepts is an advantage.
Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years of experience in software testing or automation QA.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
