About the Role
Medinex Workforce relies on software that has to keep working: candidate trackers, client portals, reporting tools and automation scripts. This internship is built around strong software fundamentals, providing experience within a real development workflow with bug reports, feature requests, and code reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Build small features and improvements under the guidance of senior developers.
- Track down reported bugs, find the root cause, and fix them.
- Write clean, readable code in Java or another language you are comfortable with.
- Apply data structures and algorithms to solve practical problems efficiently.
- Write simple unit tests to verify code functionality.
- Use Git and GitHub for branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Keep short notes for teammates to understand and reuse work.
- Share progress in daily check-ins and weekly reviews.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language.
- Understanding of data structures and algorithms (arrays, lists, stacks, queues, trees, sorting).
- A basic idea of object-oriented programming.
- Logical thinking and the habit of asking good questions when stuck.
- Clear written English for documentation.
- A laptop and stable internet connection for full-time remote work.
- Git and GitHub familiarity (nice to have).
- Basic knowledge of databases or APIs (nice to have).
- A GitHub, LeetCode, or HackerRank profile, or a personal project (nice to have).
Qualifications
- Final-year students and recent graduates from B.Tech, B.E., BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT), MCA, or related streams.
- Self-taught developers who can show a project or certificate.
- Freshers are welcome, and prior experience is not required.
- Available full-time for the internship period.
Duration: 1 to 3 months
Stipend: Up to INR 15,000 per month
Workplace Type: Remote
Employment Type: Full-time internship
Working schedule: Full-time, Monday to Saturday or as assigned, with daily check-ins and a weekly review.
