About the Role
The Social Media Managers Intern role at Laneway is an internship position based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and others.
- Draft and schedule posts.
- Assist with content calendars.
- Optimize social media profiles and posts for reach and engagement.
- Monitor analytics to track performance.
- Collaborate with consulting, technology, and media teams.
- Community management.
- Basic copywriting.
- Trend research.
- Prepare simple performance reports.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO).
- Strong Communication and Writing skills.
- Skills in Content Strategy.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts.
- Basic understanding of social media analytics tools.
- Basic understanding of platform-specific best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related field is preferred.
- Interest in start-ups, technology, and business consulting.
- Proactive attitude toward learning and experimentation.
