Research Analyst & Content Writer (X & LinkedIn)

About the Role

We're looking for someone who loves researching real estate, follows business and market developments closely, and can turn complex information into sharp, insightful social media content. Your job will be to help build our presence on X (Twitter) and LinkedIn, positioning Barkat Capital as a credible voice in India's real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Real Estate News & Market Research
• Track daily real estate news across Delhi NCR.
• Research infrastructure developments, government policies, property market trends, and major transactions.
• Identify important developments and explain why they matter to investors and homebuyers.
• X (Twitter) Content
• Write sharp, engaging posts on real estate news, project launches, pricing trends, and market insights.
• Extract interesting insights from our Instagram Reels and YouTube videos and repurpose them into X posts.
• Convert research, drone footage, whiteboard analysis, and market data into compelling content.
• Develop relevant opinions and key takeaways instead of simply reporting news.
• LinkedIn Content
• Write insightful LinkedIn posts covering real estate trends, investment frameworks, and industry developments.
• Transform video content and research into engaging, original thought-leadership posts.
• Help communicate our founder's experiences, perspectives, industry interactions, and achievements.
• Develop content that builds credibility among investors, developers, and industry professionals.
• Content & Creative Coordination
• Work with a research and creative intern to prepare content.
• Use AI tools to improve research efficiency, structure ideas, and draft content.
• Coordinate with designers and editors for charts, graphics, images, and video clips.
• Manage the content calendar and ensure consistent publishing.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Excellent English writing and storytelling skills.
• Strong research and analytical ability.
• Genuine interest in real estate, business, economics, and infrastructure.
• Ability to simplify complex topics into clear, engaging content.
• Familiarity with X and LinkedIn content formats.
• Comfortable using ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI research and writing tools.
• Basic knowledge of Canva, Excel, and PowerPoint is an advantage.
• Someone who can think independently, identify interesting stories, and form logical arguments.

Prior real estate experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Strong research skills, curiosity, and writing ability matter more.

Who Would Be a Great Fit?

Someone who enjoys reading business news, analysing markets, understanding why certain cities or locations outperform others, and turning those observations into content people actually want to read. We don't want someone who simply copies news articles or generates generic AI-written posts. We want someone who can find the story behind the information.
