About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a Barista at Denver International Airport. Provide world-class service to guests from all over the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet all guests with a smile, take food and drink orders, answer questions, call guests by name, and thank them for their order.
- Prepare quality beverages and food products consistently, adhering to recipe and presentation standards, while providing legendary service.
- Stay calm during periods of high volume to keep the store operating properly and set a positive example for the team.
- Operate a cash register and receive payment from guests, following all brand and HMSHost customer service and cash handling policies and procedures.
- Keep the store clean, stocked, organized, and decorate customer display areas.
- Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to enhance the culture, values, and mission of the brand and HMSHost, following operational policies and procedures, including those for safety and security.
Skills You Will Need
- Strong social skills and enjoyment of meeting new people.
- Ability to stay calm and enjoy working in a fast and exciting environment.
- Love of learning new things and ability to pick up new skills quickly.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal & written instructions, policies & rules, and request assistance when needed.
- Ability to perform basic math skills for accurate money counting and making change.
- Ability to work well with others to help create a strong and cooperative team.
