About the Role
UST is seeking a Forecasting Engineer (ME) to identify End of Life (EOL) for ME components.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify End of Life (EOL) for ME components from various sources like Z2D, Mfr websites, distributors, using AI agents.
- OBS Solutions Mgmt.
- OBS Issue Validation
- OBS project classification based on pre-defined attributes.
- Replacement Solution Identification.
- Engg Change Package.
- Technical spec comparisons and reference datasheets.
- Models/schematic comparisons.
- Design impact and recommendation.
- Where used analysis.
- Technical specifications.
- Contacting OEMs for technical specs / datasheets of replacements.
- Contacting stakeholders and suppliers on a need basis.
- OBS Engg Change Management.
- New Part Releases / up-revisions.
- Spec and CAD updates in Teamcenter.
- MLO / OMS requests / updates.
- WU Analysis.
- ECR scoping and pre-requisites validation.
- ECR classification, disposition based on pre-defined attributes.
- ECR submission and follow-thru for approvals.
- E&Z mitigation follow-thru with stakeholders.
- Stakeholders issue resolution.
