About the Role
Zenlynx Technology is an AI-powered Enterprise Sustainability and Climate Intelligence company. Its flagship platform, ZenX, unifies fragmented enterprise data, automates sustainability workflows, and provides real-time insights.
The Software Engineer Intern role is an internship position based in Bhubaneswar with a hybrid work arrangement. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and testing software components that support ZenX’s sustainability and climate intelligence features.
Key Responsibilities
- Writing clean and maintainable code.
- Implementing back-end services and APIs.
- Participating in code reviews.
- Troubleshooting issues under guidance from senior engineers.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data sources, improve system performance, and contribute to new product features.
- Learning and applying modern software development practices.
- Documenting technical work.
- Continuously improving programming and problem-solving skills.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (such as Python, Java, or JavaScript).
- Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Ability to analyze problems, learn new technologies quickly, and work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Interest in sustainability, ESG, climate technology, or data-driven decision-making is a plus.
