PHP Software Developer, Web Systems

About the Role

We are looking for a PHP Developer to develop, maintain, and enhance dynamic web applications and business software solutions. The role involves server-side programming, database management, API development, and building reliable application features that support real-time business workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Build server-side modules, business logic, and application functionalities.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Create, manage, and optimize MySQL database structures and queries.
• Work with frontend developers to integrate UI components with backend services.
• Identify and resolve application bugs, performance issues, and technical errors.
• Implement secure coding practices, validation, and authentication mechanisms.
• Maintain existing applications and contribute to feature enhancements.
• Use version control and follow coding standards throughout development.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Good understanding of Core PHP, OOP concepts, and MVC architecture.
• Knowledge of MySQL, database design, joins, and query optimization.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and server-client communication.
• Familiarity with Git and debugging techniques.
• Understanding of web security and application performance basics.

Qualifications

• 0 to 2 years of experience in PHP or web application development.
• Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with Laravel or other PHP frameworks is an advantage.
