About the Role
This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to financial reporting, accounting processes, and regulatory compliance. The intern will work closely with experienced professionals and support various accounting and reporting activities while building a strong foundation in corporate finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review annual reports alongside financial statements to ensure that the signed version aligns with the finalized report documentation.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and uploading them into the BizFinx preparation tool while ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
- Support the preparation and review of financial statements, including:
- Balance Sheet
- Statement of Profit & Loss
- Cash Flow Statement
- Notes to Financial Statements
- Ensure consistency and integrity of financial data used in reporting and documentation.
- Maintain structured documentation and working papers supporting financial submissions.
Accounting & Finance Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day accounting activities including recording journal entries and maintaining financial records.
- Support bank reconciliation and transaction verification.
- Assist in preparation of schedules and supporting documents for financial reporting.
- Support invoice validation and expense tracking processes.
- Assist in GST-related data compilation and documentation support.
- Contribute to month-end and quarter-end closing processes.
- Assist in preparation of internal reports and financial summaries for management review.
