About the Role

The Procurement organization at Tallgrass sources materials, equipment, and services for energy infrastructure. The Supply Chain Automation (SCA) group within Procurement focuses on adopting agentic artificial intelligence (AI) and automation, including building AI agents, personas, and workflows. A key area of focus is communication, standardizing presentations, booklets, and graphical materials to help teams deliver clearer messages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and document AI agent personas for communication, including their purpose, tone, audience, and expected outputs.
  • Draft, test, and refine prompts, agent instructions, and reusable skills to guide AI agents.
  • Assemble multi-step agentic workflows from initial brief to final deliverable, with human review at key checkpoints.
  • Test agent outputs for accuracy, clarity, brand alignment, and audience fit; log issues and suggest improvements.
  • Use AI agents with PowerPoint and design tools to create presentations, booklets, one-pagers, infographics, and process visuals.
  • Translate procurement data, processes, and policies into clear charts, diagrams, and narratives.
  • Help build a standardized library of graphical resources aligned with Tallgrass brand standards.
  • Review draft presentations and documents and provide constructive input.
  • Create practical communication aids such as checklists and tip sheets, and support lunch-and-learn sessions.
  • Document agents, workflows, and lessons learned in a shared playbook.
  • Follow Company guidelines for responsible AI use, including using approved tools and protecting sensitive information.
  • Present an end-of-internship capstone summarizing work, learnings, and recommendations.

  • Prompt and workflow design, including testing and improving AI-generated results.
  • Human-in-the-loop quality review and responsible AI use.
  • Visual design principles and brand standards.
  • Business storytelling and executive communication.
  • Procurement and supply chain fundamentals in the midstream energy industry.
  • Professional presentation skills.

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (working proficiency).
  • Basic familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) and prompt writing.
  • Exposure to at least one design tool (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express or Creative Cloud, or Figma) through coursework, projects, or personal work.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Student actively enrolled in a degreed program related to Communications, Graphic or Visual Design, Marketing, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Expected graduation date: December 2026 - May 2028.
  • Ability to collaborate with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy, and professionalism.
  • High regard for personal safety and company assets.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • A portfolio of presentations, booklets, infographics, or other design work.
  • Exposure to AI agent builders or low-code automation tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, custom GPTs, Cursor, or similar).
  • Basic familiarity with Python, JSON, or Markdown.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong curiosity, eagerness to learn, and openness to feedback.
  • A visual eye and attention to detail.
