About the Role

This role is for an Apprentice - Production at USV PRIVATE LIMITED.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and operation of equipment, instruments as per respective Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
• Performing manufacturing operations as per respective Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR).
• Performing in-process tests as per respective BMR.
• Recording entries in BMR, Equipment logs, and various formats online as per respective procedures.
• Performing calibrations of equipment like weighing balances as per schedule and maintaining records.
• Returning extra materials to the warehouse department.
• Status labeling of equipment, accessories, and in-process materials.
• Labeling and arranging in-process materials and finished products as per respective BMR.
• Following safety practices (PPE) in the production department.
• Handing over production activities/plan to the next shift person.
• Following procedures with the requirements of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
• Giving breakdown requests to the maintenance department.
• Providing technical information sheets to the QC department.
• Updating the status board of process cubicles as per process activity.
• Area cleaning and sanitization in the production department.
• Conducting predictive and preventative maintenance with the engineering department.
• Maintaining punctuality and discipline to reach and start work within time.
• All-time readiness for internal and external regulatory audits and compliance.
• Keeping and maintaining 5S in the area.
• Following gowning and de-gowning practices in the production department.
• Following pre-start-up activities during manufacturing and ensuring area cleanliness with respect to foreign particles (fiber/hair).
• Issuance and retrieval of documents.
• Updating the status of PM & re-qualification of equipment.
• Taking part and giving input & suggestions for quality and compliance monitoring - QMS elements (Change control, Deviation, OOS, OOT, Incident, CAPA, Complaints, QRM etc.).
• Ensuring compliance on Data Integrity, GMP, GDP.
• Following safety compliance in the production department.
• Ensuring completion of necessary/assigned SOP/module/quality event based trainings before initiating GMP work.
