Talent Acquisition Project Intern

About the Role

The Global Functions Talent Acquisition team at TikTok is responsible for attracting, assessing, and hiring top-tier talent for critical global functions, including Legal, Public Policy, Brand & Communications, and Global Security. The team partners with hiring leaders to build teams that can support a fast-growing business, balancing data-driven decision-making with a high-quality candidate experience across regions and time zones.

As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, apply your knowledge to real-world challenges, and explore your career interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Support candidate sourcing through job boards, social media, referrals, and networking platforms.
• Review resumes and identify qualified candidates based on role requirements.
• Create and maintain market mappings, competitor analysis, and general industry insights.
• Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates, recruiters, and hiring teams.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Assist in preparing recruitment reports, dashboards, and market insights to support hiring decisions.
• Ensure timely, professional communication with candidates throughout the interview process.
• Partner with recruiters to deliver a seamless and engaging candidate experience.
• Support additional recruiting projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.

Requirements & Tech Stack

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Economics, Psychology, or a related field.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Available for a full-time internship for a minimum of 3–6 months.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Recruiting Operations, Consulting, or a technology company.
• Analytical mindset with experience using data, dashboards, or reporting to support decision-making.
• Interest in recruiting, employer branding, and talent strategy within a global organization.
