Associate Financial Analyst, Cost Accounting

About the Role

Flex is seeking an Associate Financial Analyst - Cost Accounting to join their team in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all defined cost accounting activities.
• Understand corporate policy and follow key cost accounting metrics.
• Implement time-saving/cost-reducing initiatives through pocket kaizens & process improvements.
• Collaborate with the operations team and track reasons for metric non-conformances through regular follow-ups.
• Post month-end journal entries related to accruals and reclass in ERP.
• Prepare & maintain SOPs in line with the latest process and document them in DMS.
• Learn and serve as a backup for the cost accountant.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• MS Office good knowledge.
• Basic level knowledge in MS applications.
• Knowledge in accounting principles.
• Ability to understand & interpret accounting policies.
• ERP familiarity.

Qualifications

• B.Com / BBA (Finance) / M.Com / MBA (Finance).
• Freshers / 2-4 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Excellent oral & written communication skills in English.
• Good team player with analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn & deploy learned skills in day-to-day processes.
