About the Role
IIEON is seeking Psychology students for an Unpaid Research Intern position. You will collaborate with the founding team to ensure the product and content are grounded in psychological research.
Key Responsibilities
- Research topics in emotional wellness, mood, stress, anxiety, and self-care relevant to young adults.
- Review academic papers and summarize key findings in simple language.
- Assist in creating evidence-based content for journaling prompts, mood check-ins, and breathing exercises.
- Support user research, including surveys, feedback analysis, and identifying behavior patterns.
- Fact-check mental health content for the app and social media.
- Contribute ideas to enhance IIEON's safety, supportiveness, and effectiveness.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Currently pursuing a degree in Psychology (UG/PG). This role is open to psychology students only.
- Strong interest in mental health, emotional wellness, and technology.
- Comfortable reading and summarizing research papers.
- Good written communication in English.
- Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently.
Bonus
- Experience with surveys, research methods, or mental health awareness work.
