About the Role
Weskill is an online training platform focused on upskilling undergraduate students through practical, hands-on learning. This is a remote Machine Learning Intern role focused on supporting the development and evaluation of data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building and testing machine learning and deep learning models.
- Work with datasets to perform preprocessing and basic statistical analysis.
- Implement algorithms under the guidance of senior team members.
- Document experiments and analyze model performance.
- Contribute to improving training content and example projects for learners.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Algorithms.
- Understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts and workflows.
- Ability to apply Statistics to data analysis and model evaluation.
- Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in ML, such as Python, and relevant libraries like NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with a distributed team.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of an undergraduate program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Willingness to learn from feedback.
- Prior coursework, projects, or internships related to machine learning or data science are an advantage.
