About the Role
The Content Writer Intern at dailymattr will support the editorial team by researching daily news stories, summarizing complex topics, and writing concise, engaging content for digital formats. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and revising articles, scripts, and explainers.
- Collaborating with editors to refine story angles.
- Ensuring all content is accurate, fact-checked, and aligned with the brand voice.
- Assisting with organizing content for web publication.
- Contributing ideas for new series or formats that make news more accessible.
Qualifications
- Ability to produce clear, engaging content.
- Strong skills in Web Content Writing and Writing.
- Capability to contribute to Content Strategy.
- Ability to adapt writing to different digital formats and audiences.
- Proficiency in Research, including gathering information from credible sources and verifying facts.
- Attention to detail in Proofreading, with a focus on grammar, style, and accuracy.
- Strong interest in news, current affairs, and storytelling for digital platforms.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Journalism, Media, Communications, English, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic familiarity with social media and digital publishing tools is an advantage.
