About the Role
FABgetaways is a luxury travel platform seeking an on-site Travel Consultant in Ahmedabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist members in planning and booking luxury travel experiences.
- Recommend destinations, hotels, and itineraries aligned with member preferences and budgets.
- Manage travel inquiries.
- Coordinate reservations.
- Handle amendments or cancellations.
- Ensure accurate documentation of bookings.
- Provide responsive customer service.
- Resolve issues before and during travel.
- Maintain strong relationships with hotel and resort partners.
- Work closely with internal teams to support promotions.
- Share feedback from travelers.
- Contribute ideas for enhancing the overall member experience.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Comfort working with booking tools, travel platforms, and standard office software.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management.
- Experience handling Travel Arrangements and Reservations (hotels, packages, related services).
- Proven Customer Service abilities (responsiveness, empathy, problem-solving).
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings, documentation, and payment information.
- Prior experience in luxury travel, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business, or a similar discipline is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Ahmedabad.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, customer-centric setting.
