About the Role
Hiredbuddy is hiring an entry-level Cloud Engineer to join our remote team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to 2 years of experience and foundational cloud knowledge, eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Monitor cloud resources and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in the deployment of applications and services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and cost efficiency.
- Implement and maintain security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
- Create and maintain documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends to recommend improvements.
- Support the migration of on-premises workloads to the cloud.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate or up to 2 years of experience in cloud computing or a related field.
- Strong desire to learn and comfort with basic cloud concepts.
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Some hands-on experience through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
- Problem-solving skills and enjoyment of troubleshooting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
