The organization helps clients design, build, and scale digital economy solutions, including financial infrastructure and fintech platforms. This is a paid remote internship role.
About the Role
The Software Development Engineer Intern will support the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions that enable digital economy and financial inclusion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Writing and testing code.
- Implementing back-end features and APIs.
- Debugging and resolving technical issues.
- Contributing to documentation and code reviews.
- Collaborating with senior engineers and consultants to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Helping integrate software components with existing systems.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, or similar).
- Basic experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and standard software development practices is preferred.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Ability to learn quickly, analyze problems, and propose practical technical solutions in a collaborative environment.
- Interest in FinTech, digital public infrastructure, MSME ecosystems, or financial inclusion is an advantage.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work respectfully with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, requiring regular coordination with cross-functional teams.
