Artificial Intelligence Intern

About the Role

The Artificial Intelligence Intern will support the design, development, and evaluation of AI-driven features and tools that enhance Hiring Path’s career and hiring content. This is a full-time remote role where the intern will assist in building and testing machine learning models, analyzing user and content data, and supporting experiments that improve personalization, recommendations, and insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and testing machine learning models.
• Analyze user and content data.
• Support experiments that improve personalization, recommendations, and insights.
• Perform data preprocessing.
• Conduct model training and validation.
• Write clean and well-documented code.
• Prepare reports or visualizations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and content teams to turn research outcomes into practical features.
• Learn, prototype, and iterate quickly.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Programming, including data structures, algorithms, and coding in languages such as Python or similar.
• Knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning concepts, including data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and basic understanding of common ML frameworks.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and draw clear, evidence-based conclusions.
• Familiarity with tools and libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, or equivalent.
• Exposure to deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow or PyTorch) is a plus.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with a distributed team.
• Interest in careers, hiring, or talent development domains.
• Prior internship, project, or portfolio work related to AI or data-driven products is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
