About the Role
DESIGN SYNTHESIS + ARCHITECTURE is a multidisciplinary practice specializing in architecture, interiors, planning, construction, sustainability, and BIM. This is a full-time, on-site role for Junior Architects and Interns based in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities
- Support architectural design development, including concept creation, preparation of drawings, 3D models, and presentation materials.
- Assist with design documentation.
- Coordinate with senior architects and consultants.
- Participate in internal design reviews.
- Help integrate sustainability and BIM processes into projects.
- Contribute to basic project management tasks, such as tracking deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with the broader design team to ensure high-quality, timely outcomes.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in relevant design and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and willingness to learn new tools.
- Familiarity with Software Development and Integration concepts as they relate to BIM tools, design software, and workflow optimization.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and models.
- Basic understanding of Project Management, including organizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and supporting coordinated project delivery.
- Degree or ongoing studies in Architecture or a related field for interns.
- Completed architectural degree for junior architects.
- Attention to detail, strong visual and spatial understanding.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Professionalism and openness to feedback and mentorship.
