This role involves daily patient encounter support within hospitals, easing physicians' workload by handling insurance claims and their entire lifecycle until final payment. The position connects with US insurance companies to clear outstanding balances.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-call analysis and check status via payer calls, IVR, or web portal services.
• Call insurance companies on behalf of physicians to examine outstanding Accounts Receivables.
• Analyze accounts receivable data to understand reasons for underpayment or denial.
• Multi-task effectively.
• Follow instructions precisely.
• Prioritize unpaid claims based on the length of time they have been outstanding.
• Check the relevance of insurance information provided by the patient.
• Evaluate unpaid transactions.
• Transfer outstanding balances to patients if they lack adequate insurance coverage.
• Request Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from insurance companies for paid claims.
• Take ownership of the process and be responsible for revenue collection.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any stream.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good analytical skills in identifying trends and bulk issues.
• Hospital Billing and Denial Management experience is ideal.
• Knowledge of Denials management and A/R fundamentals is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of US AR and revenue cycle management for Physician Practices is an advantage.
