About the Role
Sunsys Techsol is seeking a Cyber Security Intern who is detail-oriented, curious, and passionate about protecting digital systems. You will work with IT and security teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security practices, and support secure system operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring systems and networks for security threats
- Support vulnerability assessment and basic penetration testing
- Help implement security policies, controls, and best practices
- Analyze security logs and incident reports
- Assist in securing web applications and APIs
- Support awareness documentation and security reporting
- Work on basic cloud and data security practices
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic understanding of Cyber Security fundamentals
- Knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Familiarity with common threats, malware, and attacks
- Basic understanding of Linux/ Windows systems
Preferred/Bonus Skills
- Knowledge of tools like Nmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark
- Basic Cloud Security knowledge (AWS / Azure)
- Familiarity with SIEM concepts
- Knowledge of scripting (Python / Bash)
- Git / GitHub basics
Qualifications
- Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or related fields
- Final-year students and freshers are welcome

Duration: 3 Months
Timing: Flexible (Part-time, ~3 hours/day)
Stipend: Unpaid
