About the Role

The Assistant Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. This role supports senior engineers in planning, executing, and monitoring manufacturing and technical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in planning, executing, and monitoring manufacturing and technical operations.
• Assist with equipment setup, process improvement, and quality checks.
• Prepare technical documentation and maintain project records.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform data collection and basic analysis of process performance.
• Troubleshoot minor issues under guidance.
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards.
• Engage in hands-on work on the shop floor.
• Actively participate in team meetings to support ongoing projects and new initiatives.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in engineering principles (mechanical, electrical, or related discipline), with the ability to apply them in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and basic engineering documentation.
• Comfort with data collection, basic analysis, and use of standard productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, reporting tools) to monitor processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and compliance in day-to-day operations.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams on the shop floor and in the office.
• Ability to follow structured procedures, learn new tools and methods quickly, and work under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field preferred.
• Prior internship or entry-level experience in manufacturing, production, or engineering support is an advantage but not mandatory.
