Senior Architect, Landscape

About the Role

• This role supports Architectural design development, CAD/BIM modeling, and documentation of construction projects across various sectors.
• Responsibilities include developing project designs, producing presentation drawings and sketches, assisting in solving design complexities, and leading specific project aspects and teams.
• Reports to the Project Lead or more senior team leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Under direction, develop, modify, and review drawings to incorporate design intent.
• Develop and implement project design concepts.
• Perform BIM/CAD modeling.
• Develop sketches.
• Conduct research and data collection.
• Prepare presentations and reports.
• Produce design and construction documents.
• Work on multiple projects, exploring new design solutions, completing tasks within deadlines and budgets, and effectively utilizing resources.
• Interact with lead country-based clients, participate in project development, and present ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Prepare, manage, and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, and details according to project team leads' direction, following standards and archiving documents.
• Develop solutions to technical and design problems following established design standards.
• May assist in developing project scope, plans, and services during the contract process.
• Prepare 2D and 3D presentations, design drawings, and renderings.
• May assist Project Designers and Project Architects with concept design development.

Task and/or People Management

• Assist the lead Team and project Team during the design documentation/production process, providing guidance and support.
• Manage design tasks and deliverables, and report on progress against the design program to the project lead.
• Report on progress and risks associated with the program.
• Follow organizational values and exhibit appropriate behaviors.
• Manage time efficiently and contribute to team meetings to review the design program.
• Manage junior colleagues, trainees, or interns when needed.

Business & Financial

• Support the Project Lead in developing the project execution plan and forecasting resources.
• Contribute to project programming and/or financial planning.

Qualifications

• Qualified Architect.
