About the Role

Servers at Flanigan's play a vital role in every meal, welcoming and guiding guests, taking orders and serving, and attending to details.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
• Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance and food/drink running as needed.
• Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current promotions and specials, and answer guest questions verbally and clearly.
• Accurately write down guest orders and enter them into the POS system in a timely manner.
• Retrieve food or drink orders from the kitchen or bar area and deliver them to guests in a timely manner.
• Assess guest demeanor and identify when to summon a Manager.
• Collect guest payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using the POS system efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner.
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, and assigned sidework.
• Restock and maintain restroom cleanliness for guests.

• POS system
• English

Qualifications

• Ability to physically stand/walk 100% of shift.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop frequently.
• Ability to deliver plates and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks and notes.
• Must be 21 or Over to enroll in the 401K Plan.
• Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program.
• Complete and pass food safety certification program.

• Five (5) Day Work Week
