About the Role
Prospertive Associates LLP is seeking a Relationship Associate – Trainee with a focus on Insurance & Mutual Funds. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Vidyavihar West (near Ghatkopar), Mumbai. The company is building a young, learning-first team and provides training from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage health and life insurance renewals end-to-end, including tracking due dates, preparing renewal quotes, sending client reminders, and closing renewals on time.
- Calculate and compare renewal premiums, accounting for age-band changes, sum insured upgrades, add-ons, and multi-year options.
- Prepare premium comparison sheets across insurers using Excel.
- Track renewals, SIPs, and client follow-ups using Zoho CRM.
- Respond to existing clients' queries on their insurance and mutual fund holdings, under supervision.
- Handle client onboarding, KYC, and policy/investment paperwork.
- Assist in preparing portfolio review reports.
- Utilize AI tools like Claude and NotebookLM for research, summarization, and drafting client communication.
- Stay updated on IRDAI, SEBI, and AMFI regulations.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Excel: Good working knowledge of formulas, sorting and filtering, and simple comparison tables.
- Zoho CRM: Exposure is a plus, not a requirement.
- AI Tools: Curiosity about tools such as Claude and NotebookLM.
- Compliance: Willingness to complete relevant insurance and NISM (Mutual Fund) certifications.
- Communication: Clear and confident communication in English and Hindi; Gujarati is a plus.
- Software: Experience with AI tools such as Claude and NotebookLM is desirable.
Qualifications
- Graduate or postgraduate: B.Com, BBA, BMS, BAF, MBA Finance, Economics, or any stream with a genuine interest in finance.
- Attention to detail: High attention to detail is crucial.
- Numerical skills: Strong with numbers, comfortable with percentages, premium comparisons, and basic calculations.
- Soft Skills: Disciplined, service-minded, and people-friendly.
- Location Preference: Candidates living on the Central line (Kurla–Thane) or near Chembur are preferred.
