About the Role
ReelSaga is looking for an AI Engineer Intern to build and automate generative AI workflows for content production.
What You'll Do
- Build end-to-end GenAI pipelines connecting script generation, image and video generation, voiceovers, and automated editing.
- Integrate AI models, APIs, and production tools into repeatable workflows.
- Automate tasks such as asset organisation, batch generation, subtitles, video assembly, and export.
- Reduce production turnaround times by identifying bottlenecks and improving existing processes.
- Build lightweight internal tools that content teams can use without technical support.
- Experiment with models and tools to improve output quality, speed, and cost.
- Make pipelines reliable through validation, logging, retries, and error handling.
- Document workflows and track improvements in processing time, cost per output, and manual effort.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong working knowledge of Python; familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript is a plus.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and working with JSON, webhooks, and third-party services.
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs or generative AI tools through projects, internships, or personal experiments.
- Understanding of prompt design, structured outputs, and chaining multiple AI tasks into a workflow.
- Ability to debug independently, learn unfamiliar tools quickly, and deliver working prototypes.
- A practical approach to execution: build, test with real users, improve, and document.
- Interest in video, storytelling, and solving real content-production problems.
Good to Have
- Experience with FFmpeg or other programmatic audio and video processing tools.
- Familiarity with image, video, or speech generation APIs.
- Experience with workflow tools such as n8n, Make, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of asynchronous processing, job queues, concurrency, and API rate limits.
- Familiarity with Git, cloud deployment, databases, or object storage.
Qualifications
- Students, recent graduates, and self-taught developers with strong practical projects are welcome.
- You don’t need experience with every tool listed, but you should be comfortable coding and able to demonstrate something you’ve built.
