About the Role

EY is looking for a Consultant to help deliver and contribute to profitable growth by ensuring client engagements are executed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engagements in a professional manner, according to client expectations and contract terms.
• Prepare and file individual tax returns and e-TDS returns.
• Draft submissions before tax authorities.
• Represent clients before tax authorities.
• Advise on outbound/inbound structuring for employee movement.
• Possess working knowledge of immigration and provident fund in connection with expatriates.
• Participate in group work execution by delivering effectively and teaming with tax professionals for comprehensive tax solutions.
• Ensure assigned work areas are executed according to the work program, firm methodologies, guidance, and professional standards.
• Use electronic working papers and various software applications and knowledge sources efficiently for research.
• Analyze and convert data into a tax product (advisory/compliance), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Thoroughly check documents and make them available for tax inspections, where applicable.
• Demonstrate professionalism through a positive and cooperative attitude, maintaining confidentiality.
• Contribute to team success by understanding methodologies and tools, keeping team members informed, seeking assignments, and proactively offering tax services.
• Challenge traditional procedures and seek new approaches.
