Software Associate

About the Role

The Software Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position supports the development and maintenance of software solutions for Dion's smart battery, energy management, and monitoring systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Writing and testing code.
• Assisting in the integration of software with hardware platforms.
• Supporting data collection and analytics for battery performance and energy usage.
• Collaborating with engineering and product teams to translate technical requirements into robust software features.
• Documenting software components.
• Troubleshooting issues in deployed systems.
• Contributing to research activities.
• Evaluating new tools and technologies.
• Improving existing applications to enhance reliability, scalability, and user experience.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Programming and Software Development skills relevant to embedded systems, energy platforms, or similar technical environments.
• Analytical Skills and Research capabilities to interpret data, evaluate system performance, and contribute to new solution development.
• Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, document technical work clearly, and support knowledge sharing.
• Familiarity with energy technologies, battery systems, or IoT platforms (ideal).
• Experience with version control tools (ideal).
• Experience with basic software testing practices (ideal).

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field (preferred).
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work safely on-site.
• Ability to contribute in a team-oriented environment.
