Associate Maintenance Technician

About the Role

McKesson is seeking an Associate Maintenance Technician to assist in the upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance of facilities and equipment. The role ensures a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Respond to and troubleshoot maintenance requests, including minor repairs to building infrastructure, equipment, and fixtures.
• Assist senior technicians with more complex repairs and installations.
• Conduct basic carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep tasks.
• Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used accurately.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities role preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, standing, and climbing ladders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Typically, minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• May have a degree or equivalent.

Working Conditions

• Shift: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
• Location: 4971 Southridge, Suite 101, Memphis, TN 38141.
• Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
