About the Role
Bold Steps Behavioral Health is seeking new graduate and experienced registered nurses to join our critical care units, including Neuro Step Down, ICU, CVICU, and Medical/Surgical Step Down. This role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care, evaluating care effectiveness, coordinating with departments, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Participating in teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Supporting patient safety and quality care standards
- Engaging in ongoing education and skill development
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
- Active RN license in Missouri or a compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Skills And Experience
- BSN and specialty certifications
- Previous hospital experience is helpful but not required
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and assist patients safely
