About the Role
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Engineer for the F-35 Mission Data organization. This role involves deploying the Common Reprogramming Tool (CRT) to customers, which provides a more efficient and robust approach to rapidly reprogram Mission Data Files (MDFs) for F-35 mission operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing capabilities to be integrated into the CRT.
- Working closely with Software Engineers to ensure implementation meets predefined acceptance criteria.
- Managing the verification approach of these capabilities via lab and integration testing.
- Ensuring all risks or issues within work execution are well understood across the team.
- Responsible for export of design documentation related to CRT and CRT exportability.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Must be a US Citizen.
- This position will require a government security clearance.
- Must be able to obtain a Final Secret clearance prior to receiving final start date.
- This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Analytical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Understanding of Systems Engineering Applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Desired Skills:
- Basic understanding of Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems.
- Basic understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) Systems.
- Experience with Agile Development programs.
- Cross-Functional Leadership Experience.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Experience and/or knowledge of systems engineering.
